The big 19 and 15

Just some pics celebrating the kids' b-days!

Other Students' Floral Designs

As promised, I'm finally getting around to posting other people's designs. I wanted to show how varied the designs can be even though we all start off with the same materials. Hope you enjoy. =) Lisa

Catching Up

Well, I've been a busy little bee in the last month.  I found a new job - a prep person in a busy little floral shop called Grower Direct Acadia.  I'm enjoying it so far.  It's a permanent part-time position.  I'm working a few more hours than I had planned on but I believe my employer will give me the flexibility I need to still do the things I want to with Tamara.  So all is good.  Since I've been so busy, I'm just loading this post with a few pictures that show some of the scrap pages I've completed.  I also completed my Floral Design Level 3 course and have thrown in my arrangements to show off as well.  In the next post I'm going to post some of the other arrangement that the other ladies made in my last two classes as well as I love how we are all given the same product and we all come up with a different design.  As well as I have some pics of the kids birthdays.  Hope you enjoy what I have here.

School Daze - Sep 05 (I really like the colours in this LO)

Class 5 - Minimalist Arrangement

I experimented with gluing some beads onto my LO - I wanted to enhance the Vegas theme.

Witchy Witch - just a quick simple LO

Class 6 - Tropicals (front)
 (back)
A vase arrangements that I put together with the extra flowers we got to bring home.  Not too shabby - though I wish I had some extra greens to support everything better.

Happy day ahead, first day off work in the last 7 days and the weather is warming up.  Cheers!  =) Lisa
